Our Approach
Red Current Ltd undertake thermal imaging inspections on Off-shore installations for electrical and mechanical applications as part of a condition based or predictive maintenance strategy.

Our thermographic surveys are carried out by qualified engineers who are certified to PCN Level 2 by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT). This together with the use of the most advanced thermal imaging cameras and analysis software available within the commercial sector; you can be assured the quality of service received will meet your high expectations.
Our Engineers are trained and certified to the standards required by the Off-shore Oil and Gas industry in the UK and Europe. Each has completed the BOSIET (Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training) and MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) courses together with passing a Medical carried out by an OIL and Gas UK registered Doctor.
Electrical thermal imaging surveys undertaken on offshore installations routinely identify issues such as loose electrical connections, overloaded circuits, phase imbalance, deteriorating switchgear, transformer defects and busbar connection problems.
