FLIR T450SC and 650SC Visible-Spectrum Clarity
Consumers may very well have their smartphones and tablets, and whilst we here at Red Current love and indeed use them rigorously for our communications, we believe some of the biggest technological advancements are being made in thermal imaging technology. One such advancement is FLIR recently adding Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX), a patent-pending technology, to their T450SC / 650SC Series of thermal imaging cameras.
Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging allows a higher level of thermal imaging clarity to images, offering up an ability to aid in the identification of thermal breakdown problems. As noted by FLIR themselves in a press release, the unique on-board processor within the T450SC / 650SC Series provides a huge level of detail in real time, with the resultant thermal image clarity making it easier to identify anomalies.
" Unlike traditional thermal fusion that inserts a thermal image into a visible light picture, FLIR’s new MSX technology embosses digital camera detail onto thermal video and stills. Using MSX technology on FLIR T450SC and T650SC IR cameras eliminates the need for a separate digital image in your reporting." - Said FLIR, in their press release.
