Thermal Imaging Surveys
Kristian Westerhold established Red Current Ltd in 2010. This followed 16 years employment within the nuclear industry, undertaking roles including Risk Management, Electrical Engineering Training and managing the delivery of condition monitoring maintenance strategies. During this time Kristian developed his skills, knowledge and experience in the field of thermography in electrical, mechanical and building applications and has achieved BINDT Level 3 PCN certification.
Red Current only employs PCN/ITC qualified thermography specialists using the highest specification thermal imaging cameras commercially available. This ensures that all thermal imaging surveys, analysis and reporting are carried out are in accordance with the code of practice and appropriate thermal imaging standards as detailed by the UKTA.
Thermal Imaging is a service which is non-intrusive and should have no impact on normal business operations. Safety is our primary commitment, all work is carried out in accordance with our method statements and risk assessments which are available on request. Red Current carries professional indemnity and £5m public liability insurance.

- We will always respond to your enquiry within 24 hours. This means that you'll never be kept waiting for information when you need it. We also have the facility for potential customers to complete a short submission form and an estimate for the cost of a thermal imaging survey will be emailed within one hour.
- Immediately on completion of each thermal imaging survey, we will provide an appraisal of results so you can be instantly assured of your asset's health.
- All thermographic reports are produced using relevant analysis results and plain English, such that the reports and recommendations are easily understood.
- Prior to any thermal imaging survey we endeavour to fully understand your requirements such that we deliver a service that exactly matches your expectations.
