Building Thermography
Reduce Heat Loss with Building Thermography
Driven by rising energy costs and the Carbon Emissions Reductions Target (CERT), building heat energy efficiency is one of the fastest growing applications for thermal imaging surveys. This is because it is the only technology which is able to identify areas of heat loss both in terms of air leakage and through missing or damaged insulation.
Red Current's building thermography surveys enable you to:
- Locate areas of missing/defective insulation
- Locate thermal bridges
- Locate areas of air leakage
- Locate areas at risk from mould and condensation
- Demonstrate compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations
- Satisfy requirements for BREEAM Assessments
- Provide quality control following the installation of cavity wall insulation
Red Current Ltd have both the equipment and capabilities to provide thermal imaging surveys which range from qualitative external image capture to full internal and external quantitative building energy efficiency assessments. Red Current Ltd recognise that each customer will require a level of service which suits their particular circumstances. We therefore make every effort to fully understand your requirements such that we can develop a level service which provides you with the maximum value.
Our example Building thermography report gives an idea of the level of service we can provide.
Building Energy Efficiency thermal imaging
Thermography enable fast, non-destructive surveys to identify and reduce heat loss in buildings, or problems in insulation and under floor heating. Conventional examination may cause extensive damage to walls and flooring, with the associated repair expenses. Click on the images below to view the gallery.
